The Charlotte Herb Guild
Meeting of November 13, 2018
Garden Council House

President Mary Beth Collins called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. and thanked the hostesses Margie Orell, Debbie Bouton, and Susan Oleson for the delicious food they provided for the evening. The table was decorated with an edible cornucopia.

Mary Beth asked for approval of the August minutes, and they were unanimously approved.

Membership Chair Margie Orell asked those members who had invited guests to introduce them. There were eight guests in attendance.

Treasurer Dixie Kelly said that CHG has an account balance of $6000.
Mary Beth, on behalf of Linda McDonald, reported that the Charlotte Council of Garden Clubs will be hosting a holiday party on December 8, and more information will be forthcoming. The Council House will be decorated for the holidays.
Ann Baldwin let the members know that there will be a celebration of Early Tech Days at the Hezekiah Alexander House on November 18 from 12-4 and members are welcome to attend. The garden is doing well, and Ann tidied it and said it will carry us to February.
Having no new business, Mary Beth reminded members that the next meeting will be the annual business meeting and will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at 12:30, with lunch served.
Eric and Craig Ritchie and Dana DeBellis presented an interesting program on making topiaries.
